Scripture
Acts 17:11 These were more fair minded than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word in all readiness, and searched the Scriptures daily to find out whether these things were so.

Observation
Paul found a people willing to study the Scripture to find the truth. My sense is that Paul loved being in their company. Kindred spirits enjoy being together.

Application
Real truth only comes from God. It seems that we are always ready to hear from any other source rather than God who has not only the right answers but the best answers. Not only does He know the facts but also the spirit of each issue.

Prayer
I pray that I continually seek your wisdom God. Don't allow me to trust my own understanding or that of man. I will try to seek your wisdom from your Word. Amen
